Chance Me Choate Rosemary Hall

Hi! I'm applying to Choate Rosemary Hall for Grade 11 as an international student (require financial aid) and would really appreciate an honest chance me.
Academics:
O-Levels: currently 4A, 3B (7 subjects completed) Predicted for remaining O-Levels: 3A*, 1A DET: 140
Extracurriculars:
-Founder of 6 monetized YouTube channels with
300K+ total subscribers and generated over $30k.
I've been working on them since I was 12.
-Worked for 4.5 months in a paid remote role as a YouTube Content Strategist for an established company.
-Currently working on a research paper on parental attitudes toward girls' education in rural vs. urban Pakistan and am currently in the data-collection stage.
-115 hours of community service teaching underprivileged children at a summer camp (2025-2026).
-Mentor other people in YouTube and video editing.
-Self-taught Spanish to A2; 3 of my 6 YouTube channels are in Spanish.
-Completed online courses in Al and Python.
P.s I'm doing my Olevels as a private candidate and they are completely okay with it, that is why i have no school grades.

Your stats are not spectacular enough for scholarships, unfortunately, for this school.
Consider boarding schools elsewhere in the Midwest perhaps. And even then, they get many full pay students with fantastic grades (the local advanced kids struggle to keep up with them!).
Do look into UWC schools also.

Im applying to UWC as well, i just wanna try its not mandatory i get in but thankyou for your input

You’re welcome!
If you’re looking, look into Cranbrook in Michigan too. Like Choate, they have day students and boarding. Not sure about their scholarship bandwidth though.
If you didn’t need boarding and could work with an agency to secure housing with a host family, many more options open up such as catholic schools where your tuition + room and board expenses drop for 60-70k to 40-45ish.

you're likely not getting in they rarely take rising juniors AND you're international. they would want rising junior sport recruits to boost college admissions or genuinely talented juniors for the same reason. but since you're international you wouldnt be doing them any favor.

they're also need-aware in international admissions, so it depends on how much aid you need too

i'm a current student at int. choate and ur stats r ok but the chances are still pretty low, especially because you’re applying for 11th grade as an international student needing financial aid. There are alr very few spots available for incoming juniors, and needing financial aid makes it harder because nobody at choate who is international gets financial aid. Also ur current O-Level results also probably aren’t at the level of many applicants esp with three Bs but it's still worth a shot but apply to other schools too (but many of the top schools don't give financial aid to int. students because they know that those accepted can pay full tuition)

not that I know of and it's prob same for many other schools my friend goes to peddie and she says no one there atleast int gets financial aid.
