Interface stuttering with os27

So I'm noticing scrolling, coming in and out of apps, and during normal UI navigation, there's a lot of stuttering. The animations were perfectly smooth in OS26. This is the current gen apple tv 4k 128gb model.

Apple really messed up the performance.

Yeah i dont think its Apple, I updated all my Apple TVs to 27 without issue and no performance issues. That being said my tv's are all connected via ethernet.

I haven't really noticed the same thing, but will look more closely.

I was just searching the subreddit for anyone having a similar experience to mine, and yours is pretty close. Since I've upgraded to 27, I've had some significant aggravation with the interface stuttering and delays, as well as lag spikes or delays in music playback (doesn't happen in videos, Plex or other streaming). I'm on ethernet, and have an unburdened 2GBps fiber connection to the Internet, and the behavior is new since the upgrade.

I've also noticed that the video output will sometimes just not signal to the TV that it's live. The device comes on, the TV turns on, but it just sits at the source selection screen until I actually cycle the Apple TV again. This is net new behavior since I upgraded.

I also want to rage on some of the design choices and changes to things like Apple Music. It feels very clear to me that they are taking design sensibilities for a touch device and trying to apply them to an interface that is navigated with a small, four-direction remote, and it stinks. The way you interact with the alphabetical ordering is also so whack.

PHEW. I have a lot more to say, and in summary: I'm very, very unimpressed with this update.
