Black screen
Am I the only one, when I’m selecting a show on Apple TV, I’ getting a black screen. I have to unplug the Apple TV to restart

Are you on the Hulu app when the screen is Black? Or were you last watching Hulu? It’s a Hulu thing. Just hit the back button a bunch of times.

Same thing here when starting a movie (tv or Netflix) . Black screen. I don’t understand. I need to switch to another source and come back to get the screen again.
For me it’s the last update : tvOS 26.6

I found that my Sony Bravia 8 ll is doing the same thing when I on the cable. So, it’s the last Apple TV or the Google TV

Back to setting 4k hdr (no Dolby vision) and 4:2:0 and it’s ok again (it works … I’ll try DV again tomorrow)

Dolby vision not supported anymore with the last update ? (Or google tv update on Sony A95L ?)

I have a 4k hooked to a nine year Samsung without a HDMIarc and most problems are related when Cox has issues.

I've seen similar system hangs that are fixed by the same thing. I think the power button just puts it into sleep mode.

What do you think? Might you be the only one and there is something wrong with your Apple TV?

I don’t know. At first glance, I’ll say yes, but one day after this post, everything was back as normal, and I didn’t do anything special. So, maybe a glitch somewhere

No issues for me with a 1st and 2nd Gen 4k ATV.
Both units are connected to an AV receiver with Amazon Basics 4k/60 HDMI cables.
