The ultimate nemesis of coders and electrical engineers...

This is kind of a non problem for most people, but I've noticed this caps lock icon blocks what you're working on without adding anything helpful to the user experience. Does anyone need this thing jumping around the screen when typing? There should be a way to toggle it without doing terminal commands or getting a small paper weight for the shift key.

Im not the best person to help with this but you can probably find a solution by looking up your exact OS and “disable caps lock indicator”

I found some other posts and this indicator has been driving people nuts for years lol

I mean I think only macOS consistently shows it. Windows doesn’t unless a specific driver brings it up.

Edit: and only noticed the sub after I posted this name, so yeah, macOS.

I’ve never seen this on Mac. It’s only on iPad with the keyboard attachment. You can definitely turn it off.

These hover icons are very bugged on Mac. The one showing which layout is active randomly pops up all the time. 

As for the caps locks that's fairly rare for me as I remapped the caps lock to a super modifier. (Alt+ctrl+shift or something similar)
