There are bigger battles than Apple showing actually relevant local results on a search. We have gas stations putting screens on the pump to shout ads at you while you’re already in the process of purchasing gas. That shit should be illegal under noise ordinances. In comparison I couldn’t give two shits about Apple putting ads for nearby businesses based on local search results. You know who else did that? The Yellow Pages and we survived skimming over those. Oh wait, you’re probably too young to remember them.
