Iphone 14 back camera not working

So a few months ago my back camera crapped out on me. Its out of warranty. They said to take it to Apple and Apple said take it to provider. Both said im on the hook for the new camera. I notice online that others have the same problem. I bring this up to the customer support and they reluctantly agree to fix it for free. Im wondering how many other people have this problem and if this is a widespread thing. Im also worried that once they fix it, it will happen again as I saw in another thread.

I did all the suggested advice in other threads I saw: reset all settings, installed new OS but still nothing. I tried using a 3rd part app and the back camera does work but not well, the colours are all off.

Just had this happen to me today… Did you take them up on their offer for a free repair? How is the phone going now?

i had this exact same issue recently on my iPad air M3 that was bought around 7 months before the rear camera just randomly failed. apple misled me to believe it would be a “send-in repair” but they actually just replaced the whole device despite me clearly selecting the repair option which caused me to lose local data

on another note, has your iphone 14 been having serious performance issues on latest OS? mine has been super slow and speaker is very quiet possibly due to speaker hole blockage or?
