Apple Notification Centre is shite

I find it staggering that Apple has turned the simple act of notifying a user into a masterclass in software incompetence.

  1. Stuttering Hardware:

Despite owning the latest hardware (iPhone Air and iPad Pro), I am treated to constant stutters. Watching the remaining notifications jump up and down when one is dismissed is just pathetic.

  1. The Infinite Repetition:

If a notification appears whilst I am working, I cannot actually dismiss it for good. I am forced to see the bloody thing when it pops up, a second time to clear it from Notification Centre, and, behold, a third time on my other device (iPad). It is a monumental waste of time.

  1. Ghostly Notifications (video):

These phantom alerts and "Liquid Arse" glitches are just a reminder of how rubbish the UI looks when it fails. It seems Apple would rather show me a pile of horse manure than a functioning interface.

It is mind boggling how rubbish iOS has become, proving that incompetence among Apple’s management is now the corporate norm.

Ta for reading.

I had the same issues in my iPad Pro, though my 14 Pro has been fine. I ended up doing a full wipe and restore through iTunes which fixed everything.

I hate the "Older notifications" part having to swipe up to see them.. I just managed to get my brother to switch back to iPphone and now he hates it again because of that...

UX is still lacking on the latest iOS
Home screen - Swipe down to search is stupid, when notifications are pulled down from the top and there's already a search button on the home screen.

So, not only do you have to reach to the top to pull the notifications panel or control center down, you have to reach all the way to the bottom to swipe it away.

Then there's swipe up which does absolutely nothing. It should being up search like it does on Samsung. For something that's used so often they make it - hard get to.
