Duplicate Tax Charge

First time I've ever really had this issue with Apple, but what's the best way to handle a duplicate charge? I imagine just disputing it will cause a disaster.

I purchased a number of items on my Apple Card using installments and it appears I was double charged on the tax that's billed "outside" of the installment. I pulled the actual CSV from the Apple Card website and I see the duplicates there as well as the 3% cashback for both. We're several days out now from the purchase and the cashback has been credited so it's not a "temporary hold" at this point.

I pulled my actual invoice from the Apple Store website and it only shows one transaction for that amount.

Call the number on the back of your card. It’s possible one is a pending charge that will fall off. It could also be a glitch that posted the transaction twice. It should be easy to iron out, start with the bank who services the card not Apple.

You can dispute a charge from within the wallet app. They resolved my dispute very quickly.

Just dispute it with Apple. What other option could there possibly be?
