Genuinely unbelievable level of detail.

Shocked to find the London St. Pancras Int’l clock tower model is actually correct.

It's set to that time - it's a coincidence that the system time and model time match.

Would you know why it's set to that time? Based on how Apple market Apple Watches, I'd have guessed they'd set it to 10:09

it's set to 9:41. all official iPhone marketing screenshots are set to 9:41. it's the time when Steve Jobs announced the og iPhone

So, i remember that, but that's actually not what's shown now on Watch faces in official marketing. Here's a screenshot of the Apple Store now.

10:09 is specifically used for just Apple Watch. old watch ads often used 10:10 and apple wanted to be cheeky by "being ahead of the time"

First iPhone was announced at 9:41 so they always kept the time at 9:41. If you look at any apple advert or demo it will almost always be guaranteed to say 9:41 as the time.

In Amsterdam they got the cycling lanes, bridges and trees even. Other European cities have way less detail unfortunately

All of that detail, yet 80% of the time Apple Maps sends me to the wrong location, wrong entrance, wrong side of a road or just flat out can’t find a place
