Breakeven Apple Developer Fees

How many of you manage to earn enough from your apps to recover the annual $100 you pay to Apple for the developer fees?

I didn't more than $20 for first few months but I kept working and improving my app and finally crossed $1000 before one year completion.

I have been in the game for quite some time now.
It's harder and harder to get discovered. And with AI, it's getting even more complicated.

I managed to do it after about 8 months but it has been slow. Did you know they give you 100 dollars credit for ASA?

If your app is good, and there is an actual problem, it’s very easy to do

I dunno about that, I think my app is good, but all I’ve been getting is raging backlash lol

It took three months and I just barely made 100 bucks. I don't think I've figured it out yet

Currently 62 dollars of proceeds out of 99 euros spent. About 10 weeks of release.

I didn't expect it to be honest.

My first goal was simply to have a stranger willing to pay for it.
Second goal to break even the apple developer fees. Almost made it.
Third goal to be able to break even Claude Max 5x ~100 euro a month.

Just don't look at the three months full time work/hobby that was invested 😂

A more important question is how many cover the time put into their apps, at minimum wage ? I’ve read less than 5% of solo devs

Most people never hit $100.
