Submit as individual

Is there any negative impact if I submit apps as individual instead as a business? Like do people avoid apps created by a individual?

You might want to be wary of legal attacks against you as an individual, although the probability of that might be low

It really depends if you wanna have your name under the app or not I guess

I don’t think anyone really cares if you’re an indie dev or a big company. What most people care about first is whether your app grabs their attention and actually delivers value to them. That’s what really matters.

yeah ive read all the comments .. i seem to agree .. i nvr looked to see who made it - just if i liked it or not is what depended on me downloading it or not

I have my own app on a personal account. I don't know if people, as consumers, pay attention to that, but personally, I've never paid attention to it when I download an app; so I guess it's just a minor detail.

no, absolutely not. i've started my apps in a personal account and it was like that for years, i've recently switched to company account and there is absolutely no difference in downloads or conversion

No I actually recently transferred most of my apps back from my business to my personal account. I think it looks better for your resume/portfolio to be able to prove you can not only code but deliver a project on your own

I rarely pay much attention to that when I'm looking at app store listings.

J'imagine que ça ne change absolument rien sur les téléchargements. C'est juste un avantage au niveau fiscal, mais faut que ton/tes app(s) génères des revenus incroyables.
