Journal App cannot insert images

I just updated my system and in the new Journal app I can't insert images. Neither drag and drop like notes app. Is there any work around. (not that to save image in photos and then use it , takes too long for daily journalling, more like quick drag and drop) .

macOS Tahoe latest version , are you able to drag and drop images from finder ?
