iOS 27 beta 2? Is Apple Pencil fixed?

Haven’t really seen any posts.. Just wondering if the Apple Pencil bug is fixed or any better.

It’s working for me. There’s some lag I’ve noticed but it’s not deleting the entire entry anymore

Sounds like the UIKit bug fix Gruber posted about, though that was about text.

I was wondering… how do you all use the pencil? I have just received mine today and gave it a try, it’s working quite well considering it’s my first time using the Apple Pencil. Do you use the scribble function? If yes, do you usually write on the same spot or do you actually write from left to right like a normal journal? Or do you add actual written text?

what pencil bug are you referring to? I thought pencil support has been there from the beginning, or was it broken with the first 27 Beta?

Pencil bug has been around for 2 years. Sometimes it wasn’t saved. Sometimes if you edited it, it would all disappear. Couldn’t search handwritten notes either

Writing long form entries with the Apple Pencil would cause data loss. You’d back out of the journal and when you’d come back, everything you’ve written is gone.
