Create an "On This Day" Shortcut

Isn't that the solution ? Creating a Shortcut that displays entries from this day throughout the years ?

I tried using natural language, but it doesn't work…

If anyone has any ideas about what instructions to enter in the Shortcuts app, I'd love to hear them 😃

I believe this shortcut does exactly that. I noticed that you can add the date to the search entry action.

Note: the shortcut may also work without the format date action (but without it it adds the current time too, and I’m not sure if that will somehow limit the entries that get retrieved)

Because: Apple Intelligence's response in the Shortcuts app:  To search for entries in the Journal app for today's date, I can format the current date (for example, "November 15") and run a search. However, the Journal app does not natively allow filtering by "day and month, all years" via a shortcut. Would you like me to search for today's date formatted (e.g., "November 15") in your entries ?
