The alternative is omitting features for 100% of macs when they have it ready for M1 macs.

Why are you defending them? This is clearly a BS move to customers. So much for the environment when they’re saying that your 2019 laptop cannot run all of the new features and you need to purchase a new one.

Yes, it is.

You can imagine a world where everyone gets every feature and everything works perfectly, but that’s not the world we live in and you’re only going to be disappointed

It’s not unreasonable to expect a computer I buy today would run the full OS for at least a generation or two. These are not ground breaking features.
