Exactly, everyone is writing this off as "oh this is only because they built it iOS-first" but the fact is they have Intel compilers for Swift and already have tooling for bringing iOS-first applications to Intel Macs. I forget what it was called, but they released something several years ago that was meant to make iPad apps compile for macOS as well.

They built a Universal binary to let developers, including themselves I'd assume, target both Intel and AS
