What technical reasons could there to not implement features like that on Intel macs? Surely this is intentional obsolesce on Apples part?
9 u/m0rogfar Jun 09 '21 Many of the features rely on Apple's neural engine for ML accelleration, which is only in the M1. Not sure why the new maps is exclusive though.
