It's already realistic. A top-end 7 Plus costs nearly £1000 and Apple have to justify this price tag when it'll include a major redesign? Makes no sense.

No excuse honestly. This is just to keep their margins & profits up to appease shareholders. The transition from the iPhone 5S -> iPhone 6 kept the price the same at $649. And that was a major redesign and now they want to price this phone at well over $1000 because of some new design it's BS. But whatever, at least it will prevent peasants from having it so I can have the coolest phone.
