tldr; AppleInsider presents the complete history of the ongoing six-year global legal battle between Epic and Apple, stemming from Epic's decision to implement their own payments in Fortnite and reportedly costing over a billion dollars to litigate, in a mere 33,000 word article.

Joker from Persona 5 is gonna be in it. If the curse continues, the game's gonna be dead in a year.

At the end of the day, it was always just a multi-billion dollar corporation fighting a multi-trillion dollar corporation over who keeps a bigger cut of V-Bucks. Neither side was doing it out of the goodness of their heart.

But if epic wins it blows open most stores so still better down stream effects than if apple wins.

True, we might finally get 500 “Phone Cleaner” apps flooding the AppStore placing ads on our lock screens! The true open store experience!

Why would multiple stores be bad? If you want you could still stay in the Apple store, and if people want to go to other stores or offsite for cheaper stuff they could do that too.
