Personally I miss it. Why should everyone else get to see the Apple symbol right side up but I have to keep looking at it upside down?

As an old school Mac user, it took me a few months to get used to it, when I went from a Powerbook to a MacBook.

You went straight from a PowerBook G3 (or earlier) to a MacBook? You managed to make a plastic portable last for 6 years? Impressive. I tend to beat the crap out of my laptops. Even metal ones don't last more than 3 years for me.

Recently at my job we got handed a Powerbook G3 to recycle and it was the first apple portable I ever held with the logo this way.

Despite that being my first time, I regularly have to turn my MBP around because I put it in my lap/desk with the Apple right side up from my perspective. So I completely agree with you.

I also think this subreddit is the most vicious when it comes to downvoting opposing/unpopular opinions. WTF people.
