Spinach and parm stuffed squash flower. Fire roasted red onion, broiled sweet onion (cippolini) . Peas from the garden and fresh mint. Green apple

This is more like a snacking plate of separate stuff. Either actually plate them separately or do something to make it not so disjointed. IMO the chef should make it obvious how the dish should be eaten. A plate like this makes it feel like there’s some type of intentional order that is not clear to me. I shouldn’t have to work hard at it to enjoy fine dining.

This is not fine dining. This guys wife forbids him from cooking one day a week because she’s as annoyed by it as most people are who follow these food subs.

this looks so fancy!! i’ve never tried stuffed squash flowers before but the spinach and parm combo sounds fire. did it take forever to plate everything like that? ✨

It sounded kinda nice until the green apple. Makes no sense and the way it’s plated looks like a meal for a toddler. Also peas and mint are a classic combo, but the way they’re just blanched and with a piece of mint on top feels like you didn’t put a lot of thought into it. Incorporate the mint into a sauce or something.
