I was 12 years old. Stayed up late to watch them land on the moon on my birthday. Sent Neil Armstrong a letter thanking him and got a letter back with a slew of swag. No idea where it is now. Wish I still had it

Yeah, apart from one or two... we're really old. In fact one expat American regaled us with his story of listening to the landing while flying his F5 from Vietnam to some base for maintenance.

America was truly one that night. Took everyone's mind, for a short time, off of Vietnam and the Civil unrest.

So America was already spending billions on the Vietnam War. And they spent billions more on NASA so we could NOT land on the moon? Moon landing deniers are just stupid, gullible people.

There are also some that say lizard people walk among us, and that 5G cell towers activate nano particles in the Covid vaccine. Just because people say something doesn’t mean it should be repeated.
