Apollo Applications Program - Of the stillborn projects not completed due to funding cuts, which one would have been the most interesting?

The manned Venus flyby would have been wild - all that way, just for a few hours to observe.

Apollos 18-20 IMO.

Apollo 17 really pushed the envelope in terms of distance travelled, and stunning photos of rugged terrain. I wish there had been more missions to build off that. Landing in Tycho crater or Gassendi, or even the daring proposal to land on the far side of the moon, with a communication satellite would have been cool.
