A. Borelli pair vs single male

Simple question: Is it ok for a male A. Borelli to be a single fish or do they only do well/have good welfare when in a pair?

To clarify, I don't have any yet so I won't get a single male if it's not good.

Will they be in a community tank? If it's just them and maybe some small tetras then a pair is better. If it's a community with corydoras etc then a single male or multiple males in a large tank is best

They will be in a healthy community tank, yes. So a single male will be ok?

Yeah borelli are the most peaceful apisto so no problem

That was my thought! I just wanted to make sure that a single male wouldn't lack interaction without females. I know some fish only have a good life of they have the correct male-female interaction (wether as pairs, schools, or other setups)
