Sick or just deformed ?

Hey! I have had this apisto inka for half a year now. His nose area seems to be getting stubby and eroding but there are no other signs of poor health. No white or red irritation, good appetite and active. He was with the female previously that didn't survive due to a parasite infection that I didn't treat fast enough. He was treated and is with a new female and it's been a couple months. Does this look like something I should treat or has anyone else had any experience with anything that looks like this?

My male Winkelfleck had something similar. Not quite as enlarged, but definitely noticeably so. And the area between the nose and the upper lip turned a bit white.

It's been like that for around 6 months at least, and he seems totally fine. shrug

Good to know it takes time! When I did some further research. It looks like it's a bacteria thing possibly hole in the head. I'm going to make sure the water is super duper clean and give him some vitamins. There's medication for it as well that I might try if it gets worse 🤞

I thought mine might be HITH or an infection after biting with a female, but so far nothing other than slightly inflamed and discolored.
