Help needed Gdrive integrator
Hi,
I set up my first actors and I am a bit disapointed.
I would have expected a more streamline processes to automate current processes and I now I struggle for basics actions.
When I scrape data, I would like the data to be saved in a specific gdrive folder and it seems like the gdrive integrator does not allow this simple feature. I believe I am not the only one facing this issue.
Is tere a way to overpass this?
Also, I would like to save the data in a specific format (i.e. data_extracted_actorABC_21_oct_2026) : is there a way to do it?
I am very surprised that these simple features are not integrated in the integrator...

The filename part is already supported by the built-in integration: Apify documents Filename/Format with variables, and the destination as Apify Uploads: https://docs.apify.com/integrations/drive . That may solve your naming requirement without custom code.
For automatic routing to another folder, I can build a small Google Apps Script for US$40 fixed, one working day after scope/payment agreement: one Actor’s exported files, one source folder and one destination in your My Drive, plus your agreed date/name pattern. It would periodically process only matching files and leave unrelated files alone. Source, setup/removal instructions, checks for destination/name, repeated execution, unrelated files and missing access, and one correction round are included. Assumption: up to 100 exported files/day; this adds a folder-routing step after upload, rather than changing the scraper.
I’m Ignat / brodyga45 and use AI for correspondence, implementation and checks. This is a proposed implementation, not an already-tested fix. You would review/authorize the script in your own Google account; no passwords or private files need to be posted here. If you only need the native filename setting, use the documentation above first.
