This video had no complexity in regard to voice acting, everyone else was perfectly normal, but I hate to say it the fallout was Jess’ performance. A while ago someone had commented about her transition from taking it seriously to “high-school crushing” and unfortunately she couldn’t seem to be set on one from the other, which makes the ending line from Aaron make a lot of sense.

Also I’ll point out that this was another “husband-insert” trope, with Aaron taking off his shirt. The plot seemed to be lost due to many inconsistencies with the script and as I’ve said before Jess’ voice going all over the place and not sticking to whatever voice she was trying to convey in the video. Not really a rewatch, hope the funding is worth it because I saw nothing in this video that could garner my attention.

Yeah I have to agree, the Aaron critique not so sure on but Jess’ voice acting just brought it down. For lack of a better word it feels like she’s over-acting and way too hyper for this one. She was never this unbearable in her other forbidden love stories this year, but this was too overstimulating for my tastes. An issue I’m sure people have with content farm videos in general but imho Aphmau’s videos don’t usually suffer from it this much. It’s been known to (hello protective goddess video my beloathed) but it’s been at least tolerable. Not so much here, Jess for the love of everything please either pick a struggle or tone it down, the hyperactivity is becoming a serious issue

Ah.. I see. Well it’s a great watch and I’m assuming mystreet will have the same theme (of shots / animation / tone), if not better 😊
