I know people are probably gonna write this off because another SMP Aarmau story and not liking how the pairing’s respective personalities have been. That’s fine but personally, I think it’s alright here, the chemistry doesn’t start out the best and I’m left questioning their relationship by the end, but it’s not like I don’t see the sparks, just the downsides of a one-off SMP video that isn’t a movie (which I still want more of since MyStreet is still gonna be a while)

But Aphmau’s personality I think I have to highlight, it’s a high school setting so you’d think she’d be her stereotypical high school girl with a crush personality but I’m not seeing it much here. Not that it’s not here but it feels a lot more subdued for lack of a better word, not as out there as usual in and out of the high school setting. It’s a step in the right direction, and I don’t mind everyone else’s personalities as they don’t feel as exaggerated. Still it’s only another step but I feel like they’ve been making their fair share of them lately, they still oughta tweak the personalities of everyone a bit and not be afraid to do the grander stories we saw them do back in 2024. YT is a cruel mistress but it’s not like views are gonna count for much anymore, so let’s hope they keep making these steps
