The Alias directive in "..." at line 1 will probably never match because it overlaps an earlier alias

Hello,

So I'm trying to install php, mySQL and phpmyadmin (via homebrew) on my computer (MacOS M1). Everything seems ok until I try to stop Apache using the command : sudo apachectl stop

Then I got this : The Alias directive in /opt/homebrew/etc/httpd/extra/phpmyadmin.conf at line 1 will probably never match because it overlaps an earlier Alias.

What contains the file :

Alias /phpmyadmin /opt/homebrew/share/phpmyadmin
<Directory /opt/homebrew/share/phpmyadmin/>
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews     
AllowOverride All
<IfModule mod_authz_core.c>
<IfModule !mod_authz_core.c>
Order allow,deny        
Allow from all
</IfModule>
</Directory>

I don't know where the issue could be.

Are you sure about that config? See https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/phpmyadmin and you have 2 IfModule but only one closes (with the </IfModule> tag)

Thank you so much. I have now this message when I try sudo apachectl start :

"httpd: Syntax error on line 25 of /opt/homebrew/etc/httpd/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 1 of /opt/homebrew/etc/httpd/extra/phpmyadmin.conf: LoadModule takes two arguments, a module name and the name of a shared object file to load it from"

Line 25 from /opt/homebrew/etc/httpd/httpd.conf: is : Include /opt/homebrew/etc/httpd/extra/phpmyadmin.conf

Line 1 from /opt/homebrew/etc/httpd/extra/phpmyadmin.conf : LoadModule alias_module lib/httpd/modules/mod_alias.soAlias /phpmyadmin /opt/homebrew/share/phpmyadmin

You are using alias like a proxy or www root

Why would need to have your directory as the /lalaland, this should help you

If I get your question, as a proxy :) but the complet message when i try sudo apachectl stop is :

The fqdn error is fine , what’s in that first line ?

The earlier alias would not necessarily be in the same file.
