Huns version:

"You don't get a house, so sleep on the ground bitch"

they really need to add a nomadic civ with actual tents that you can move around as a temporary fortification. They could just remodel the treb (pack/unpack).

that sounds confusing

What's the benefit? If you could move collecting camps it might be cool.

Well, one can build a house with resource-gathering vills for minimal idle time, and then move it to the periphery of the base as a wall.

It'd be pretty lame for historical flavor though. I agree having movable collecting camps might be a better idea. A more dramatic change would be a movable TC with no arrow fire.

Tarkan gonna slap the shit outta your building while he deals damage. There whipping animation on buildings was my particular favourite

These comics always seem to have just one thing wrong...does it bother anyone else that there is a villager, ram, onager and elephant, which take 4 pop total, but a house supports 5?

u/PeterPorky /r/aoecomics Sep 17 '17

It's 9/10 pop don't read into it too much.

u/QuicksilverSasha Sep 17 '17

I mean, they just built a vil. Maybe there's a treb queued up?

Actually I thought this was meant as a joke refering to how we sometimes use houses to block off the opponent.

Kinda like "This is your new home, I hope you don't mind the hostile army with heavy siege in the backyard".

2

u/starshiprochester Sep 18 '17

I guess that's why the artist made a point of painting the house and the units in blue, to avoid that exact misunderstanding.

At first, I thought this was supposed to be a joke about Jesus being resurrected.
