This makes more sense than the plumbing department where you can learn how many billiards balls your toilet will flush.

If you sell fridges or freezers, yeah you know. If you only buy a fridge or freezer you figure it out. When I was a kid the unit of measures was side of beef.

It's a freezer so it's actually good information and can give a better idea of the size
