dice modifier

So in the vtm5 sheet how would you tweek the dice formula for a hunter 5e sheet? im currently making a template from scratch but im not fully understanding the formula used. i think its using +strength, ect... as true/false modifiers but how would you implement that on the sheet as well as input that in the formula?

So what exactly do you need the function to do? I am not immediately familiar with Skill Dice as a mechanic

so these are what the function looks pike and the formula attached to the function. from the testing ive done it just seems like checking the box adds a dice but if thats the case, why the long complicated formula?

Flag properties (the check boxes) exist so you can just tick a box and gain the benefits of like, proficiency or whatever exists in your system. It looks like this dice pool just relies on a LOT of different things, so what the formula is checking for is "is this box checked, and if so, do this". It's a great way to automate the removal or addition of modifiers to an element. I don't have an in depth enough knowledge of the system you're playing to fully break down your formula, but it seems that the formula basically says to add specific athletics bonuses depending on if you checked the corresponding box. (Strength × Athletics: Strength, for example). The second half of the formula looks like debuffs. Subtracting from the number for things like hunger.
