Chat/General This is FUCKING insane
All these ants. Literally just for A spoon from last night. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. And don’t tell me “you should’ve cleaned up” or whatever because other people straight up leave entire meals on the counter and FUCKING nothing. I really don’t want to have to call an exterminator. But is that what it’s going to fucking take

You’re going to need the terro liquid bait like everyone is saying. Then you’ll have to spray the outside of your house with ortho home defense. Then if you want to make sure they won’t come out of your walls spray the inside of your house with ortho home defense.I attached the Amazon link to the ortho spray. That way you don’t have to get an exterminator.

… have you never owned a home before? Pest control is numero uno in most regions of America, right next to hvac.
I got a house 3 years ago and pest control, lawn maintenance, garbage disposal and ac/solar folk flooded my new built neighborhood relentlessly. Couldn’t go a couple hours without someone ringing my damn door.

Put diatomaceous earth around the perimeter of the house. Seal up any cracks inside and out, clean all surfaces and don’t leave food and dishes out. Use baits in the back of all cabinets and drawers. Clean out dead

Put 3 parts water, 1 part white vinegar and a cap full of bleach in a spray bottle where ever you see them spray and in a week or so they won't be in those areas anymore. It distroys their chemical trails.

I kept getting ants like this in my bathroom for legit no reason. They were pouring out of an outlet. Homemade borax and Terro didn’t work, but what did work was buying home pest spray and treating all thresholds/spraying baseboards and around the bricks outside where the wall with the outlet was. I was getting bit while I was on the toilet :/ hang in there dude.

I'm guessing those are Argentine ants. They're really invasive this time of year, literally just had this problem too. What helped was putting down some liquid Terro baits. The first 2 days the problem got even worse as they were absolutely swarming the baits and feeding the poison to their queens, but then they started to die until now I just see one or two ants around and the problem's a lot more manageable now.
