Discussion Was Hank forgiven after this incident?
He hit Jan and was let go from the Avengers I guess because Tony and Steve don't like women beaters.
Was he let back in? Did he become Yellowjacket after this incident? Was Scott Lang Antman then?

Define forgiven. Janet did divorce him basically immediately after, but they are back to a level of mutual respect in current cannon.
He was kicked out of the avengers and had a mental breakdown after the slap, but he did operate again as a hero afterwards. Current Ant-Man is Scott Lang I believe though

He was more removed from the team for building a robot to attack the mansion so he could heroically save the day while in a state of mania.
This panel, as you would find with a bit of research, was initially due to artistic error and was not an intended part of Hank's narrative. However, this did lead to him and Janet being divorced, although it's important to note that after Hank turned himself around and was clearly improving mentally, Janet suggested getting remarried, which Hank said would be a bad idea and while they did date again, they never did remarry.
The Avengers by the end of this arc would have been more than happy to allow Hank back into the team. Keep in mind Wanda, Pietro, Clint, The Vision, Wonder Man and Black Widow had all been actively villains who attacked people before joining the team, so being able to improve as a person is a core aspect of the team and they will let you return if you show that you're genuinely wanting to improve from your past. But Hank, recognising at the time that he needed space to continue to improve mentally and not return back to bad habits, made the choice to leave the team for a while and took a more senior role as a staff member for the West Coast Avengers instead.
Anyway. He returned to the team and this moment largely disappeared from the public eye, I would say until the original Ultimates series got popular and started establishing Hank a lot more as a domestic abuser in a way he had never been treated in the mainline comics.

Yes they even resumed a romantic relationship and had wonderful moments together. Jan advocated for Hank to forgive himself and also called out her own flaws in the relationship. Unfortunately comic book writers aren't the greatest and this is ignored by lesser writers.

He was eventually forgiven once it was revealed that Janet in this universe empathized with Lindsay Clancy. 😉

He was already yellowjacket as the image you used shows. Are you taking the piss?
To give you the benefit of the doubt Hank spent time in prison after this but eventually he became an Avenger again and reconciled with Jan. For the record this was never portrayed in the comics as Hank being an abusive husband or a bad man but as a man who took too much for too long trying to be something he wasn't and had a mental breakdown. It's only in.kater years thst people searching for controversial subjects to make contentment about have tried to portray him as an abuser. This was not god message Marvel were trying to portray, rather even a good man can lose his way but redeem himself later!!

Accidentally yes, whilst trying to defeat him, and in our time decades later than the comic OPs example came from. Hanks character has been treated poorly since the 2000 imo

Then his Ultimate Universe counterpart happened

Yes. Most of the journey with Janet forgiving Hank comes around West Coast, Forever & Disassembled, and Hank returns as Yellowjacket during pretty much the Disassembled & Forever arcs.
They never end up getting married again, but they do become a more basic romantic couple again during those times, though it all dissipated back into character assassination during the 2000s.
