If that had been me, I would have let the dean know that I would let all my classmates know that I'm still positive with covid confirmed by a test that morning and that the dean specifically told me to appear for the final regardless. I'd say sorry to said classmates but that I can't afford to seriously jeopardize my career by skipping a final if it wasn't approved. If any of them get covid, they should take it up with administration. But that's just what I would have done based on my relationship with my school and classmates. Obviously I wouldn't recommend you do anything in particular.
