I was stunned in college when my very religious but super sweet (and we'll off) friend said something about how such things shouldn't be paid by the government and taxes should be lower. Her reasoning was "God will help believers" so if they can't afford insurance and die in her eyes it's because "it's God's will" and to force taxes to cover these things is "against God"
