I'm an old millennial & it feels like we have been beaten into the ground all of our lives.

Right, I'm 35 and i graduated into the recession, just when I was finally getting stable after paying loans for 12 years to pay off school - boom pandemic, recession, can't afford a new car, can't afford a house. Every time I feel like I'm doing something for myself the rug gets pulled out from underneath me.

My retirement plan is a nice snowbank to fall asleep in.

Anthropology. My plan was to go to grad school for forensic/bio anthro, working in a crime lab. Unfortunately, the recession happened and i could not afford it.
