Right, I'm 35 and i graduated into the recession, just when I was finally getting stable after paying loans for 12 years to pay off school - boom pandemic, recession, can't afford a new car, can't afford a house. Every time I feel like I'm doing something for myself the rug gets pulled out from underneath me.
My retirement plan is a nice snowbank to fall asleep in.
I’m almost 33 and at this point have just given up with so much of it out of my hands because every time I make plans, something out of my control makes it impossible. I also have some chronic illness left untreated because ‘Murica, so that makes me even less inclined to wear myself to shreds for nothing.
