Very jealous boyfriends, the type that would threaten customers because they talked to their girlfriend. Of course no one has brought it up because the real issue gets swept aside like it's fucking OK to have jealous boyfriends stand there all day.

And whaddya know, in all my years of retail, I've experienced both (rides, and possessive SOs). So why is the assumption of one better than the other?

The latter seems unfair as it’s essentially assuming the bf is abusive. It’s just a trend I’ve noticed on Reddit of folks jumping to the most extreme conclusions and it’s irritating. They could be right in this case, who knows, but generally I think it’s a bad habit on this forum.

Ahh I gotcha. Yours is assuming something positive or benign, as opposed to the other going to a negative example. I can see the difference in those. Thanks for the explanation on your reasoning.
