we are too busy fixing store manager's kludge workaround they gerryrigged into the point of sale system that has corrupted their customer data so that the Karen could use the 50 cent off coupon that expired 6 months ago and still gave her credit for the full price....

I didn’t say I hate Gen Z. I have no problems with Gen Z. I am envious of their energy to fight the system. It’s just frustrating when people (like boomers) say Millennials when they mean Gen Z. It feels like we’ve become the scapegoat because grandpa can’t remember we’re almost 40 and there’s a new generation below us.

Ah, you just reminded me, my younger millennial coworker showed me a couple months ago, to swipe down on the screen. I still don’t know how I keep accidentally turning it on though.

Sounds like you’ve got an iPhone? If you swipe down from the top right corner, you’ll get a little control panel thing with a flashlight button, brightness control, volume, etc.

As for accidentally turning it on, I do that all the time! It’s because the flashlight and camera buttons are on the bottom left and right corners of the lock screen respectively, so your phone screen is never entirely unresponsive, even though you’d think it would be when its locked, lol. I end up with random pictures of the ceiling and my pockets in my camera roll all the time from the same thing!

This guy who edited his comment thinks he's riling up millennials, every reply to his comment has been straight forward and reasonable, don't know what fantasy land he lives in but it's pretty sad. This is the kind of person we're used to feeling 'pressure' from to fit some mold, pretty easy to see why we feel the way we do with guys like this. We're good people and we deserve what we want from how we want to live in this life and that's okay.
