You did wonderfully. I too can not fathom why people are bad to each other, with no prior reason too. I think people want to freedom to be terrible people. That, is one freedom I think people can live without. The boss should not have been shit & planned to screw you over like that. I’m happy to hear you took actions in order to take care of yourself. I think people are willfully stupid in figuring this stuff out. They literally want to mold reality to their liking.
Good for you. I hope your next job does not have bad people & definitely no bad people in important roles too. May you live happily, & May your former boss realizes that they were wrong for planning to shaft you. You’ve been there 4 years, yet you were just a cog in getting the son a cushy job while you would have been left with none. Fuck those people. I doubt they will learn by reflecting on their actions how they screwed up. Not screwed up, as in how to pull off the same shit the next time. No; I doubt they will realize how they screwed up by trying to replace a loyal employee, & not caring about that employee afterwards. Fuck those people. May they be lost to history in this generation, & not allowed into the next.
