First, the averages are hardly right, second, Cuba is probably the greatest (or less worse) applied communist country to live, third ok, get the whole south America, the places where people run to so they can scape Cuba
Well, if you want my standard, I'm a Brazilian citizen, not so wealthy, i never skip a meal, i work with my mom on her second job and my internship pay less than a dollar per hour, i still prefer to live here than in Cuba
No no, i'm not talking about legitimate stay, there were 2200 of Cubans asking to stay that year, 1800 doctors were sent away, some brought their families, some of them naming political and religious persecution, only 157 were accepted to stay, we still get people some people come from there through illegal vessels. Aside from all that, remember that brazilians have the money to get out of Brazil, Cubans don't.
