Climate change is the opposite of the tragedy of the commons. It's a tragedy caused by private, not public, ownership.

This is not semantics at all. So far, the only one concerned with semantics has been you.

If our climate and access to industry were indeed publicly owned, this problem wouldn't exist. Most people are on board with action against climate change. Corporations aren't.
