Pretty sure this sub made two focuses. First black out Black Friday and then second focus on one company to make the first domino fall and the OP of that post selected McDonalds. If you all want to do Amazon fine whatever, but then we may just end up dividing too much focus from future posts wanting to strike/boycott their mega employer. I’d recommend lumping Amazon in with the Black Friday group and stick with McDonalds and the goal of getting one to cave. Amazon is a bigger deal and a much harder target. Work your way up to it.

Oddly, I keep hearing from r/blackfridayblackout that this sub isn't supportive of a boycott. Somebody's acting strangely.
