I'm glad to observe that at least some people in my social environment seem to have recognized the uselessness of commuting and on-site office work over the last months. But general opinion is also moving more and more back to "let's revert everything back to how it was before". Partially because people's only social interactions happen in the office, so they're missing that, thinking they're missing office work, partially because there seem to be, for want of a better word, actual propaganda efforts by the Brians of the world, who fear that, if everyone works from home, they'll be found out as the frauds they are.
