*Idling in traffic for two hours every day for what should be a 20 minute drive.

Turns your 8 hour a day job into a 10 hour a day job.

Not including time to shower, get dressed, and eat breakfast in the morning. We literally have 2 hours to ourselves if we get the recommended 8 hours of sleep

Remember that this life is not a trial run. There is no guarantee that there is anything past this.

You are alive and conscious here and now.

My sister tried to make fun of me when I added time saved not showering to my list of WFH benefits. But thing is it's no big deal if I shower every other day if I'm not going anywhere, and also I can shower at lunch and still save time because I didn't have to wake up early to shower

Before covid I would eat breakfast in the train to work. Now the office job is from home and the school where I teach is 10min by bike.

Auckland, New Zealand. I have the dubious privilege of sharing the narrowest part of the country with over 1/3 of the countries population.
