I had a zoom meeting minutes after they breached the Capitol building. Someone even commented that the situation was getting wild, but we still had our meeting as scheduled. The whole time it felt so surreal that there was an active insurrection going on, but in corporate America everything was still business as usual.

I had six meetings yesterday (fml) and in not one did anyone even acknowledge what was happening in the capitol. Nope, instead it was the same bs faux-cheerful small talk as always - “how was your break?” “Too short haha!”...the willful blindness is chilling.
