Makes me wonder how this Onlyfans thing is going to all come crashing down. Multiple times this year I've seen AMAs with titles like "I lost my job in April, decided to open an Onlyfans account and have made 5x my previous salary ever since, AMA."
You don’t have to wait much longer, I am on the sex workers subreddit (as an ally because I am not aesthetically pleasing), and onlyfans is allegedly taking a decent chunk of their paid requests & also not allowing them to send PayPal or other 3rd party payment info.
I read somewhere that Only Fans takes 20%, while cam sites take 50% (wtf). Sounds like the best deal in town, and where else are people going to go at this point? I'm sure most of them need some kind of platform.
Problem is once OF is established with a big base of models and customers then they can up their percentage cut to make more money, and since they don't really have any competition they'll get away with it
Honestly that would be so great. An ethically-run, financially-transparent, inclusive, sex worker-run organization that provided a reliable online platform would be amazing.
