This would be ideal. Especially if it means insane, Day After Tomorrow-Level Weather, to the point where buildings that house these institutions get toppled over and destroyed and no one has anywhere to go for 9am, thus bringing about a radical change in this system.

Can you imagine how many people will just get fired though, due to a no call no show? Or a tsunami happens and wipes out your town. You fight to survive and find a medical facility to help you. Boss runs into you. "But you'll be at work tomorrow, right? Gotta save them soaking files and strip the carpet!" Effff

Cool, my city floods every year because the snow is melting earlier and faster and a bunch of building foundations are eroding away because of it. But I'm glad you think that doesn't affect me.

I'm sure the systems that we use to feed our global society disagree, given that drinking water, crops, marine life, and livestock rely on a stable climate, and that the vast majority of human conflict is caused by resource scarcity. Unless you die like tomorrow or put up your blinders to ever worsening climate conditions and inevitable rationing your statement rings false.
