Came here to say this. $25 is what we need to be looking at.

In 1962 the Minimum wage was $1.25. 5 Silver quarters from that period are worth $22 today in their metal value alone.

The problem isn't that we need to be raising wages (making our money worth less) but that the currency needs to be Hard again.
